Daisy is a new format, often called a Digital Talking Book (Daisy Talking book & Daisy Book, etc). It is in its basic form an Audio format with extensive indexing, making it easy to flick around any document. In its more complex form it can be used as a combination of Audio and E-text - this enables the reader to see the book on a screen, with corresponding portions of text highlighted whilst it is read out. Daisy is fast replacing outdated cassette tapes and becoming more and more popular - the visually impaired reader will need a special Daisy player or computer software, however we can also provide details of a free demo version that is available.
We can transcribe your documents to Daisy format. Documents are adapted for audio by our skilled transcribers, including transcription of diagrams and pictures if appropriate.

We can also add music to your recording – this means there will be a musical intro at the start of the recording and the start of each section, and an outro. Either send us your own wav or mp3 files to add, or choose one of our standard tracks from the selection below

Prices quoted are per A4 page (approximately 500 words).
You can expect approximately 180 pages to fit on a Daisy CD.
Please note that if you cannot provide your document in an appropriate electronic format, then a conversion charge will be added.
Standard Presentation:
All Daisy CDs include print labels free-of-charge.
CDs are packed into into wallets or cases (depending on number of CDs).
Other Options:

Various other presentation options are available on request for an additional charge.
Foreign Languages please ask for prices. A mimimum charge of £250.00 applies.
