Terms & Conditions (Online Shop):

These Terms and Conditions (Online Shop) apply if you are purchasing products from our online shop. Terms and Conditions (Transcription) apply when you are ordering transcription of your document(s) into alternative formats. See our Transcription section for more information.

When you place an order with the A2i Shop you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.

- Making a Purchase
Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our catalogue, and click onto any items that you may wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click onto "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that are needed to be able to process your order. You will receive written confirmation of your order by email.

- Item Descriptions
We do our best to make sure that accurate product descriptions are provided at all times. However, in some cases descriptions become out of date. If you find that an item supplied does not match its description, please let us know immediately (whether or not you wish to return the item) so that we can update the descriptions. If you are not happy with an item we have provided because of an incorrect description, then we will be pleased to exchange or refund the price paid for the item (including delivery costs) provided it is returned to us in good condition.

- Pricing
All prices are in British pounds sterling () and are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be charged at 17.5 per cent. All transactions are conducted through a secure web server. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

- Shipping and Handling Charges
The postage rates, where chargeable, will be calculated and shown to you before you enter your payment details. We use first and second-class post and next day services as selected by the class of service option during checkout. Delivery is FREE for orders over 100.00.

- Delivery Times
We will normally dispatch your order within 1 business day. Delivery schedule from dispatch is as follows:
UK 2nd class: 2-5 days
UK 1st class: 1-3 days
UK Next Day: 1 business day
Europe: 2-5 days

We close at 4pm on Friday 21st December, and re-open on Wednesday 2nd January.
You can place orders between these dates, but please note that they won't be processed until 2nd January.

- If we have problems fulfilling your order
If we are unable to dispatch within our usual time quoted above, either because the item is not in stock, or for any other reason, we will always endeavour to let you know as soon as possible of the delay - normally at the time you are ordering. We will you the choice of cancelling your order, amending it, or waiting for the items you ordered to come into stock.

- Your right to cancel and claim a refund
You may cancel your order and claim a full refund at any time after you place your order and up to seven working days after you receive the goods. If you wish to do this please contact us in writing by post or email. We will make the refund as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days. You must return the goods to us in their original condition. If you cancel your order after we have sent the goods, and they are not defective, of poor quality, misdescribed or not fit for their purpose, then you must send them back to us at your own expense.

- Returns Policy
We hope that you will be happy with the items you purchase. However, if your goods are defective, you can return the item(s) to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange or full refund. We will refund shipping charges if the goods are faulty. If you wish to return an item, please contact us to make arrangements before returning it.

- Complaints procedure
We aim to respond to complaints within five working days. Please email us at a2ishop@a2i.co.uk or call us on 01179 70 70 90. If we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will tell you how long we expect it will take and keep you fully informed throughout the process.

- Privacy policy
A2i is committed to protecting your privacy, and does not disclose buyers' information to third parties except for goods delivery purposes.
